Can you please recommend decent apartment(s) to rent in the area. Looks are deceiving, it may look nice but a different story living there. Had this experience before so now I'd like some first hand recommendations. Thanks much!

An apartment in a cleaner area. Not so much by the university or downtown. More quite neighborhoods.

Do you want to be close to the University?
Eugene is spread out over a large area, some of it has very nice affordable Apt.
It many things is having to know where your wanting to live.

I dont know the area but a good website is apartmentratings.com. It is a site where renters in the area can rate the apartment they live at. Check it out.

I would suggest going to www.registerguard.com It will have pretty much all of the apartment rentals listed and usually will give a good description. A lot of the nicer places will have websites so you can see what is available then search for them online.

santa clara is a decent area or south hills area
