Well, it was dark, I didn't see the sign, but anyways, that's not my question. My question is, seeing that I have a Canadian license and got pulled over in the States, what happens if I don't pay? Will they come after me? Will they contact the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and do something to my license?

Ontario has a reciprocal agreement with Michigan. It is likely that the Ontario Ministry of Transportation will be notified, points will be accessed against your license, your insurance premium will increase, etc.

No they do not contact the Ontario MOT.

But eventually a bench warrant will be issued for the failure pay the fine / appear in a court of law. That may cause trouble next time you want to cross into the US especially into MI.

They'll probably keep you on record. Don't go back to the States then unless you like trouble.

Just pay the flipping ticket.
