In the past, starting when I was about 10, I begged my parents for bacon, and then later for pepperoni on my pizza. When I was 19 I became vegetarian but wasnt aware there were animal enzymes in cheese. I have struggled to find the right religion for me and still give up often when seeking to learn more about Judaism because it just become too difficult psychologically. About a two years ago I ate a lot of ham for several months as it felt like my life was leaking away and that's all that would fix it. I think it probably has to do with using neem as a morning after pill when I was possibly one day pregnant (did not test for sure)

Recently, as in the past few months, I've been trying to check all my food for the U or K symbol; have also been trying to figure out why a very small amount of additive in for example enriched rice or something, would be bad or unhealthy, spiritually or otherwise.

QWhat are the lingering effects of pork?
A:I think eating pork has caused me to feel more restless, less focused, and feeling more negative emotion in response to things in life rather than calm and logic. Also I noticed it DEFINITELY causes weight gain. I was consistently 132 for years until I felt like I had to eat pork; now am struggling to get back to at least that (132) after being the most I've ever weighed in my life last year--164 (down to 146 now). I have also noticed an odor as I am losing the weight that I put on from eating pork
QDo you feel guilty, get over it.
A: It is really tiresome to check every food item I buy, especially since I have been struggling with (undiagnosed) chronic fatigue. I feel kind of bad, kind of guilty that I didnt see it sooner that pork has a bad effect on my psychological and spiritual life; have not wanted to eat meat at all but pork seems worst

QDid you just decide to follow a kosher diet but did not in the past?
A: Have been trying to be totally Kosher for about a month but already failed in having to eat some cheese pizza that was probably not Kosher or Pareve . ..Nothing else would make my hunger go away
QAre you Jewish or did you just convert
A: I am scared to convert at the moment because of getting bad Holocaust memories but am not really as drawn to any other religion. I feel like maybe it's true you have to be born Jewish, but not sure. Still I see the benefits of a pork free diet enough that I cant eat any without discomfort on spiritual and psychological levels; just dont know what will fix the gnawing hunger.
