That modern day religions are based on believable facts?

Are they better than old religions like the ones the ancient Greeks and Romans believed in?

Did every person that ever lived before Jebus/Allah/Whatever go to a supposed bad place like hell?

Do the majority of people in the world go to hell since there is no one religion that dominates the entire world? Would the loving and understanding god that is described in most modern religions let something like this happen?

Was religion initially created to explain the things people could not explain before technologies came along?

Are the Thundercats cool?

The only believable facts about religion (any one of them) for me are that they are all based on controlling people to conduct their lives based on some morals or principles that (supposedly) bring no harm to other people and to have respect for yourself and life in general. The fact that people have to have faith in such characters as Jesus/God/Allah who/whatever proves to me that most people are not capable of just attempting to lead good lives.

Yes ********, only about 40% of the worlds population. The other 50% believe there is a god but don't follow. Only 10% don't believe in God. You are so shallow. Oh and by the way, the Thundercats were gay as hell. Try the transformers.

God revealed the Torah first and ended with the Quran, in between these revelations different rules applied, for example the Jews were the chosen people, but they betrayed God, so he then said anyone can go to Heaven as long as they follow his rules, and anyone that doesn't will go to Hell.

The Thundercats are still soooo cool

Old Testament saints believed, because they knew that one day Jesus would come to the earth. Religion domination doesn't prevent Hell, only acting on the truth.

Our Loving God tells us how to avoid Hell. All we need to do is do it.

I will always believe in God and have asked Jesus into my heart. The people before Jesus came, had the prophets and some of the bible(old testament), so they could be saved.
