Yeah, the devil gets right in my ear sometimes and tells me I'm not worth forgiving, but I just have to keep remembering that confession with a true heart brings forgiveness.

Anyone who doesn't feel guilty when they wrong another is a sociopath. Literally, by definition.
And I don't need your Bible to be a moral person. If it works for you, then may you find the strength to live by its precepts. I prefer morality for the sake of goodness over a promise of reward/punishment.

I prefer the method on My Name Is Earl better--identify how you've screwed up, then try your best to make amends.

You're obviously as Law Law, as "verily verily" John,
who 'turned", back to law "behind" him, in Revelation.
Spiritual wickedness (Law) is to be flushed as dung.
Confessed sin makes "sinners all" (by the "curse of the law"), which makes "none righteous, no, not one". Hell-o: "God is one". "We all are one", and it's NOT "one proselyte", which is "more the child of hell" than other hypocrites, fools, vipers, and blind guides who all sat in Moses' Seat: Law Law (Mt 22 & 23). Rather "we are delivered from the law", from sin (imp-u-tation) and death sting thereof such Law Law of Moses and Jesus, of witch Law is both the source of sin (Rom 4:15; 5:13) and the strength of sin's death sting (1Cor 15:56; 2Cor 3:9; Jam 1:15).
Law imp-u-ted "sin" (whether confessed or not), when "it is finished", notably brings forth DEATH(not Life): James 1:15.
Life + Death (Grace + Law) does NOT end with Life.
Saved + Destroyed after does NOT end with Saved.
Salvation, eternal salvation, is saved(only) by grace(only).
Christ(the end of the law) is "author" of "eternal salvation".
(Pst - there is non-eternal & eternal salvations to sort out)
http://www.godshew.org/TwainShew6.htm#Salvations
NEWs - there's a new & dead way vs "a new & living way".
Good(Law) luck on yer guilt-tripping confession of sin, and death thereof, followed by hell(Rev 6:8), the hell of another law being evil concupiscence, witch makes you do things you would not, and not do things you would, then guilt-trips you to the place of fear hath torment afterward, for being sow dog gone law law as to add more law to "grace is sufficient"(no law req'd), and after being "delivered from the law" in response to your prayer: "deliver us from evil", which is notably an "us" thing, not a "them" thing like what's noted in 1Thess 5:3 vs 9 for "them" and "us"... a pretty good "reason" to come out from among "them". Selah.
The "grace" of our Lord Jesus->Christ with you all. Amen.

Yes, but I repent and ask God to forgive me. Sometimes I try to do something about it also.
