Change your comb to a different brand or one that has different material, until your hair doesn't become electrostatic.

Also, comb when your hair is not dry.

rub the comb on wool fabric before combing or spray the comb w/ static free; also try rubbing dryer sheet on comb before use

I have heard many ways of fixing this problem....and I'm sure they all work well.....But I'm rather simplistic I just wet the hairbrush with warm water than brush my hair.....when I'm on the go I just have a small spritzer bottle of scented water to spritz on my hair or on my brush......

Go to the section of the grocery store or pharmacy that sells hair products for african american hair. You'll see cans of stuff called "olive oil conditioning spray" or "finishing spray." This will keep the static out of your hair without weighing it down or making it sticky. I always look for one that has mink oil in it

They Make Static Free Brushes , it's a Bit more in Price , But its worth it , Look at your Local Salons , i'm sure you can find one. If all else fails .. Look online !!!

well you could either ground your self, that is tie a open wire to your legs and stick the other end onto a faucet.

or you could reverse charge yourself prior to combing
