So the Christians are saying that we aren't under the old law, because of Jesus. But without a belief in Jesus according to Rev 20:11-13 the individual is given a 2nd throne judgement, and then cast into a lake of fire. Of course this is why we see many who believe the Christian mythology telling non-Christians they are "going to hell".

So, is it really that we live under grace, or is it that we live under law.

It seems to me the person would be living under the new law of believe in Jesus or go to hell.

Am I misinformed?

You are on to something...but here is where I think that it makes most sense...

The Law was given so that people knew what God's expectations were for living correctly and getting into heaven. However, because of human nature, no one could keep the law perfectly, so that meant that no one was going to get into heaven. The GRACE is that because we cannot keep the LAW perfectly, Christ came and gave us a way out of living under the pressure of the LAW. So if we accept the Grace "Being Saved" then we are free from not have to live up to the standard of the LAW in order to get into heaven and we are not bound by it. However, if you you do not accept this GRACE, then God will judge you according to the LAW, and if you are guilty of breaking any of it...you don't pass.

Hope this clears it up a little. This is why Christ coming to earth is so vital for our eternal life.

Yes, you are misinformed. Christianity isn't a mythology. It's a religion.

Additionally, you are asking the wrong question. It isn't an "either/or" question. It's both. We live under grace, and we live under law. Mercy cannot rob justice, neither can justice deny God's mercy. That is the whole point of the Christian religion and the need for a Savior or mediator to fulfill justice and also allow God to be merciful.

It says that those who haven't accepted Jesus will be judged under the law. But the first judgment is for saved believers. The second judgment (the white throne judgment) is for non believers, who will be found guilty under the law.

You are misinformed by believing a single word or even entertaining any of this crap.

The bible is an edited collection of books placed together to keep the Christian church alive. It is symbolic to the point that it purely gives people something to follow without question or worse necessity.

there are many different Belief Systems which believe differently in theology. there are some Christian Belief Systems who do not believe Hell is an actual place but is rather a definition of " being separated from GOD "

therefore the Belief System you believe in may or may not agree with mine.

It's my choice to live under grace, Law, or whatever I want without someone calling it mythology. You make your choices, I'll make mine. OK?

We've heard that our whole lives but when given the chance to defend ourselves, we are bombarded with criticism. Yet, we are expected to sit in silence and twiddle our thumbs when they have a prayer to express,

So many of these answers are inconclusive - Is it law? Grace? Law? Grace?
