I owned a 1982 Honda civic wagon in 1997 and it was very reliable it had 400,000 klicks when I finished with it and was still running after I purchased a new car.

I once owned a '83 Civic wagon. Piece of crap! Of the five years I owned it, I drove it for 9 weeks. The rest of the time, it sat in my yard, broken. I must have spent $2000 on the clutch, carburetor, and electrical system at an authorized Honda repair service, before I gave up and gave it to my son. It was totaled on the road one night when it stalled in the middle of traffic and was hit my a drunken driver. My son was unhurt. There is a God!
