No, if a child is that bad, they know where the front door is. They would be out of my house in a hurry.

Yes there is such a thing, but abuse comes in different forms other than beating. An adult child may have control of the finances of an older parent and can spend the money for who know's what. My daugther is a black belt in Eagle Claw Kung Fu but I've never been afraid to go to sleep...and the only time my bedroom door is locked is well...because I don't want her in here...if you get my meaning.

I prefer to sleep with my door shut but if you are having to lock the door because of being so afraid of such a thing, there is something wrong and maybe a government agency has to intervein to stop any such thing taking place. As for a normal slap on the *** or something I kinda think is ok,but in today's world you are not allowed to hit a child, yet it made me think about what I had done when I was of that age,it made me learn to respect my surroundings. If you are being beaten and feel you have to lock and close your bedroom door you have to really do something about it,if you are unsure of who to contact, call the police and they will get you the help and information you need.
good luck,
any more questions or probles don't heisitate to contake me via e-mail.

I'm sure there is such thing. I've heard of kids (teens) abusing their mothers. That's just a sign that the parents did teach their child respect when they were younger.

Yes there is such a thing and a child, grown or underage, can be prosecuted for it. I would never live in a house with an abusive child. That's what boarding schools are for.

yes there is parent abuse. But the only thing a parent can do is either put that child out, report it to the police and hope they will help, or call your local Dept. of Human Service and see if the state will help you. Alot of times, the state will put them into a foster home for a while and get the child help.

depends on how old the child is.. if old enough my favorite phrase is "don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you" (in the rear end) if not old enough then send them to get help right away because it's your house and your rules and you should not be afraid of your own child. the child needs help or drugs to help with the anger problem

Sure there is such a thing! If you are talking about a teenager, look into boot camp.

That type of stuff would NEVER happen in my household. My blood boils when I hear a child even TALKING direspectfully to their parent. So, to actually attempt to "abuse" a parent has definitely gone over the edge and it's time to break out the can of whoop azz.
