This can be a misleading question.
Christians should be tolerant of other people, not tolerant of other religions...what's the point of evangelism then? If you truly believe in what Christ said, that "I am the way, the truth, the life, and no man comes to the Father, but through me," then there is NO WAY that we can be tolerant of other religions. Christianity wouldn't make sense than.
However, this does not mean we should not respect others because of who they are. Being tolerant of other people and being tolerant of their beliefs are 2 different things. This does not mean we become Bible beaters and jam religion down their throats. It means that we love others unconditionally and present a clear presentation of who Christ is and what He came to do. That's it. It is not our job to convert someone...that is up to God. Our job is to love and spread the message.

I think that depends on what you mean be tolerant. In many parts of the world, religious intolerance means killing anyone who isn't of your religion. I can't see any way for a Christian to kill their neighbor out of love for them so I would venture to say that in that since, Christians should not be intolerant.
When it comes to questions concerning the truth and ideas, here I think Christians have the right and the responsibility to take action. For instance, the Muslim community isn't going to just say "we believe in Allah, but we respect that you believe in Christ and won't do anything to change that." That's not sensible. If you believe something with your whole heart to be true then it is your responsibility to share that with everyone. As Christians it is our responsibility to share the Truth of the Lord with others. That responsibility is both Biblical and logical.
Being tolerant of an idea you disagree with is like trying to stand still on a moving train. If you don't take action against it, it will not stop.

No offense, but I hope you're not serious. Are you really asking if people should be tolerant of others who merely don't believe the same way? There should never be any question about that.

They definitely should, because Christ at His return had powerfully ordained for the Most Great Peace, the establishment of the Kingdom of the One True God on earth.

No, the time for tolerance is over. Tolerance has failed. The ones we are asked to be tolerant of are trying to destroy us at every turn. Its time for all Christians to unite and take a stand! All non-Christians must be put to death!

Yes. But as a Christian, I believe I should tell them why I disagree, in a respectful manner.
