The shanmatham as propounded by Adi shankara are 1)Gaanapatyam(worship of ganapati as they do in maharashtra)
2)Kaumaaram (worship of skanda or Murugan as they do in Tamilnaadu 3) Saaktam(worship of Shakti as they do in Bengal and assam) 4) Saivam (worship of shiva(as they do all over india but specifically in Bihar 5) Vashnavam (worship of the avatars of vishnu as done all over india 6) Advaitam (worship of brahman as supreme without any form and which is manifest in the entire universe and in every atom
