License question?

Why are there no restrictions on who is allowed to reproduce. We have to take tests before driving, practicing any professional career, or going scuba diving. But is two idiots want to have a whole herd of children then they are encouraged to do so. Before anyone asks, yes I am educated, and I do have children, it just bothers me that I work very hard, pay huge taxes and have two but the goons who live in squalor and collect a check from the GUB'MINT have 6 or 7. I love kids, I just can't afford any more right now.

I've often wondered that myself. You have to qualify for so many things, like you said, but to be married, anyone can do that with no prior training. And having kids, as long as there's a sperm and an egg, no matter how big an idiot you are, you can have kids. A perfect example is my brother-in-law. My sister claims to love him dearly but he is such an a--hole it's not funny. They have two daughters and the younger one is pretty decent but the older one is now sitting in jail and it's not her first time. She has absolutely no boundaries. She has done drugs many many times, gets drunk regularly, has had at least one miscarriage that I know of, has herpes, gets her medicine for free because of Medicaid, is on the birth control patch and gets it practically free, and is now cooling her heels in jail awaiting her trial for trashing someone's car. And she's not even 20 yet. My point is that her father should NEVER have been allowed to reproduce. It just goes to show you how aggressive the human reproductive system is. I wish there was a test to determine who can and who can't have kids. Yes, these people are on food stamps and Medicaid because he doesn't work steady. Such a waste of skin. I've said my piece (peace?) and I feel better. Thank you for asking that question. It needed to be asked.

There are no restrictions because of something called basic human rights. Bit of a manky thing? Yes, but that's the way it is. An option could be to quit your jobs, go on the tare and have those kids. On the other hand, if you adjust your life style a bit, you can have more.

Oh, and before you ask, my hubby and I are both educated, keep a serious budget, have college funds set up for the kids, I'm a SAHM and we've got soon to be 8 kids. It can be done.

Fairly asked, and its not just the ones that have 6 or 7 children that should be restricted (my Mom raised 6 or us on our own, and fought for years to get off of Welfare, because she did not believe in using the system, but had to at the time because of prejudices against working women at the time, and couldn't get a high enough paying job). There are countries that do regulate how many children you can have, China is one. Just remember though, what works in one place, will not necessarily work in another, and being a good parent, is not reflected by how many children you have, it is how you raise them. before you go too far with this read the book the messenger by lois lawery and you will find your answer. If we impose too many things then we really are going to far.

Yes it is sad that some people who are unfit to becaome parent do. but some of thoose unfit parent have dreated some decent human beings that have fought the system and become people that were worth living and become people worth something. I know Readers Digest will do things on people that have over come some of theese odds.

I have had people tell me that 4 kids are too many. soo I say to them too bad .

I've wondered that before myself. Don't know why some people reproduce when they can't take care of them.

I always dreamed of having three kids...until I had one. One is enough for me.
