I do not think your age is a deterrent for your adoption. Are you thinking to adopt a young girl or a child? Better check the Indian laws relating to adoption on the Indian Governement legal website.

Not enough information. Adoption agencies (not the traffickers) will asses the situation with the girl's best interest. If you can pass that, I will feel a lot more comfortable. You are a bit young. Pitying is not sufficient reason. How do you propose to handle sibling rivalry if and when you have your own natural baby? There are many questions you need to resolve before adoption. Humans are not pets!

If she's in an orphanage, contact them. If you don't know how to do that, contact an adoption organization that will help you with an international adoption. 26 isn't too young. You'll have to prove you can provide a stable home environment.

Age doesnt matter for you adopting an orphan...just prove that you can provide a good living environment for the girl and complete all the legal procedures to adopt her from her home or orphanage...that will do!!

26 is not too young to adopt in most countries. However, many countries do not allow single men to adopt.

I'm a year younger than you and I'm considering it myself! :)
I'm not sure what the "right" answer is but if you (and your significant other if applicable) want to provide a home for a little girl without one--I think that's great. As a parent, I can tell you it is a very rewarding job and the "mom" title is pretty cool, too. Good luck! I hope it works out!

Is she up for adoption, Or if i understand you correctly you just want to provide her the material needs, if that is the case than just open a bank account in her name and dump your francs in it.
Do it man open your heart , feel the love.

no not too young, if thats what you want, then I say go for it. Adoption is a great gift that you can give to someone.
