Is that because it shows up easier on the darker colored hair or that people with darker colored hair are more predisposed to turning gray faster? My niece has been a natural platinum blonde all of her life and she was compalining about all her gray hair, but I couldn't see it.

Well, think about it Honey, if you have on a black shirt and a light colored cat sheds on it when you are holding it, do you notice the hair on your shirt? Now say you are holding the same cat the next day while wearing a lighter colored shirt, do you notice the hairs as much, no.

Point being, you notice light against a dark background more easily that light against a light background. So it is not that dark haired people go gray faster, but it is more noticeable on them.
