Interesting thing about predictions like that .... no one ever sees it until AFTER the event. So what good is that?
lol I think people are seeing Jesus in the pudding, if you get my drift

I am a Christian and don't see where/how anyone could say the Bible prophesied 9/11. From what I've understood, America as a nation is not mentioned in the Bible or even alluded to.
As far as stopping the prophecies, the true prophecies of the Bible cannot be stopped by us since that would invalidate the prophecy and thus make the prophet false. Nice catch-22 type thingy if that happened.

I know of no absolute scripture that gives a prophecy about 9-11, HOWEVER, I will not say it does not. I have seen some scripture that one can only wonder if it tied to 9-11, but not a certainty.
Stop a prophecy? Sorry to inform you. You cant stop what is beyond mankind's ability to stop. Israel's rebirth as a nation for example. Nothing could stop this process even with forethought. She came back from the ashes in her proper time and place in history.
The prophecies about the Antichrist are taking place right now, and the vast majority of those who call themselves Christians and think they know the prophecies do not see what is happening under their own noses - because its not what they thought it would be......
...just as the Jews of Jesus time thought they knew the prophecies concerning Jesus, missed the greatest advent on planet earth because of misconception. Nothing can stop prophecy. King Harrod tried to stop prophecy by killing all children three years old and under in an effort to kill the Messiah who was born along that time frame. You cant stop Prophecy.

No prophecies ever written give exact dates or even exactly where any incident will take place...so its only after the fact that people relate what was prophecised to the event.
The government HAD real info about 9/11 (but not exactly HOW or WHEN the attack would be carried out) but even that didnt get to the right authorites until after the event.

Bible prophesy is hogwash! Every few years we
are expecting the return of Christ and it will be the end of the world. This has been going on for
hundreds of years. Turn on any religious channel and they will repeat it again tonight. But
don't forget to send in a donation to keep the channel on the air and buy the pastor a new
limousine.
The Bible is a good book and if everyone followed its teachings, we would all be better off. We could just follow the "Golden Rule" and
be better off too. At least in our Bible, their are no passages telling you to wear an explosive belt and kill as many innocent women and children as possible!

Nowhere in the bible does it say on Sept 11, 2001, planes will fly into the world trade centers and the pentagon killing 3000 people.
The bible does mention of wars. Especially between the children of Ishmael and Isacc. You need to read the bible first before you attempt to mock it.

I read revelations 18 and it sounds so much like the wtc disaster.
All prophecies can be useful to us if we take their advice.
For example (also in revelations) it mentions that the end of the days would be preceded by 100 pound hailstones.
This may be a result of global warming. We can either pay attention or start buying some very strong umbrellas.

Be careful who you listen to! Lots of people are very illiterate of the bible but want to think that they know something about it. The bible is very complex and you must understand each book and the author that is writting and the audience that he was writting it to. If there is a true prophesy ( Not that this one was ), we can not stop it. It is prophesied of God that it is going to happen. Do you think you ( The servant ) are greater than God ( The Master ). You nor I can change anything God has predestined. We are His tools ( If we are following Him ) and we can not do anything without Him as a wrench could do nothing without a person turning it.

It is impossible to stop what God or the bible says will come to pass, wether you know about it or not.
Most prophecies are encoded into the bible but we dont know what will happen and so we dont know what to look for.I have no doubt thatthat prophecy was only known when it had already occured and then the bible checked for the event.(i mean the original hebrew version.)

Have some wisdom - don't believe everything you hear.
The Bible talk about wars and rumors of war but nothing specific about 9/11.
It saya alot of things about the end times - you can read the Book of Revelation.

I don't know what part of the bible specified that the attack on 9/11/2001 would happen (um, right). However, I do believe our government knew about it.
