OK- I know she your good friend and you want to give her something that she can always remember you by but I'll tell you what I already told my bridemaids! Registry! Registry! Registry! I also already own a home which is why the registry is soo great... so instead of getting junk that I already had or threw out... I get to pick what I want. I am sure she has something really nice on there like crystal candle stick holders or her china that she would love to receive. I keep telling my family and my FI family- registry registry... please don't be creative (hey, I am an artist, I'll say it) I just want the stuff from my registry. She is going to love and cherish whatever you give her.... just make sure it's something she can use and wants!!

Get her something like a bath & lotion kit. I got one and I loved it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT give her lingerie if her future mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and grandmother-in-law (if there is such a thing) will be there. I had someone do that and I was totally mortified!!!!! My sister-in-law is 15 too so it was really awkward.
Oh, you could give her a gift certificate to a spa nearby. Like maybe put it in the pocket of a nice robe and get some soft slippers. Wedding are stressful and the girl could use some TLC.
I'm pretty sure that bridal showers are supposed to be about the bride- atleast that's what I was told although I got alot of stuff from our registry.

Personalized champagne glasses. You can get them engraved with the bride and groom's name and their wedding date. They will be able to use the glasses during the reception and for years to come. You can include a bottle of champagne, too, for an added touch.
We recently bought these as part of a wedding present and the couple loved them. I've included the link to where we bought them in the source.

Unique cooking implements? Art supplies? Gardening items?
Regarding other's answers: You don't give gift cards or money at a shower, you must give an actual, physical gift.

Get a big wicker basket and fill it with ideas that she will use. Since she already house then maybe things like coupons, house utensils that she doesnt have just fill the basket with neccessary items.

How about monogrammed towels or soap? Things that can have the bride and groom's monogram or names on them that they can put out for guests when having a party at their new home together. Redenvelope.com and thestationerystudio.com have great ideas.
