Hi,I am a taxi driver and was wondering, In light of the new laws concerning car seats for kids which im all in favour of,who is responsible in the event of customers not providing seats for there children.Am i at fault or is it down to the customer if i get stopped by the police?
What about the non car owner with 3 kids are they expected to now purchase 3 seats on the strength of they may need a cab in the future?

i've never considered this....
what do people in new york etc...do with their kids in the city??? i mean, large cities they don't have personal cars, they just take cabs....
i would contact your cab company or even the police...they should both be up to date on YOUR responsibilities on carseats in your cab!

take care!
