Simple answer. According to John 16: 7-9, the first work of the Holy Spirit (the Comforter) is to bring people to where they believe in Jesus.

John 16:7-9 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me;"

Blasphemy againt anything, God, the Spirit, etc. involves either refusing the work of that person or assigning it to evil. If you refuse the work of God the Father, which is creating and sustaning the world, it is still possible to turn from that, believe, and be forgiven.

But as long as one rejects the first work of the Spirit, which is to bring you to faith in Christ, you can not be forgiven. Since forgivenss and salvation are based on faith in Christ, if you do not have that faith, you are not forgiven.

It is not a matter of compassion, but a matter of what the sin is. Blaspheming the Spirit is rejection of faith in Christ. That is the only sin for which there is no forgiveness.

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit means rejecting salvation, and that is a blasphemy. The God in the New Testament is a loving forgiving Father, and He does forgive you, but He can't forgive those that reject the Holy Spirit, unless you repent and accept the Holy Spirit before you die, because then it is too late.

2Corinthians 3:17 Now YHWH/Jehovah is the SPIRIT, and where the spirit of Jehovah is, there is freedom.

Jehovah is the Spirit, and he is holy, therefore blasphemy against him cannot be forgiven.

Ephesians 2:22 In union with him you, too, are being built up together into a place for *God to inhabit* by *spirit.*

The whole point of our existence is to give God the glory and praise he deserves.

1Corinthians 10:31 Therefore, whether you are eating of drinking of doing anything else, do all things for God's glory.

Revelation 14:7..saying in a LOUD voice, "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of judgment by him HAS ARRIVED., and so worship the One who made the heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters."

Rev.15: Who will not really fear you, Jehovah, and glorify your name, because you alone are loyal? For all the nations will come and worship before you, because your righteous decrees HAVE BEEN MADE MANIFEST.

Was your question worded in such a way as to make it unintelligible to people like me, including all truck drivers, well diggers and lumberjacks?
Well okay, you're asking about blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. Yes it cannot be forgiven, and the reason was not given. We are not supposed to have or know the reason. So don't ask that question. Sorry.

The primary ministry of the Holy Spirit is the salvation of those who are called by God the Father. Those who refuse to repent and receive salvation are, in essence, turning their backs on God's plea that they come to Him.

Only God can save us; not idols and certainly not Satan, as alleged by the Pharisees. Anytime a person refuses to understand this, they are subject to condemnation.

Peace.
