I worship at the church of Krispy Kreme every Sunday. A dozen donuts are better than a dozen disciples any day.

depends upon the circumstances under which the donuts were being offered. many Churches have donuts and coffee either before or after services. there is nothing unusual or irreligious about this action.

I'd rather eat neither. Do you know how much money could be given to the poor if the Catholics didn't waste their time with wafers and wine?

I would rather eat a donut, no doubt. And I wouldn't share it with anyone, even though they kneeled before me.
