Tofu Jesus: Could you then, perhaps, cite quotations that show that the US Founding Fathers patriotism was more pacifistic than the patriotism of today?

I wouldn't defend that statement since it's false (unless one considers the US Founding Fathers to be earlier settlers than those of the Revolutionary era--many anabaptists who settled America early on in the European migration to the "New World" were indeed pacifists).

If the Founding Fathers were liberals, then the US would be just like Canada - still with a Queen and snow all year round.

The American Revolution was NOT a pacifist movement.

HOWEVER, my hero is Jesus, who was a pacifist, so I follow his actions, not those of my founding fathers :(

they fought off the british, the mexicans and stole indian lands. pretty sure they totally hated fighting..............nope
