Can you tell if she has a fever? It may just be an upset stomach that caused both. If she isn't running a fever, I don't think it is an emergency, but a good check up would be helpful, so you know if there is kidney/bladder problem, or what....You can take her temp with a rectal themometer..it should be 101-102.5..(37.8- 39.1)
If she is feverish, then she should see the vet.
Just an after thought..Has she been wormed?

Did you take your dog out before you went to bed? If you didn't....well you should have. Think of it this way....what is the first thing you do in the morning and last thing you do at night? Most likely the answer is that you use the toilet. Dogs have to pee too.
Be glad it wasn't your head that she peed on.
Then again are you sure it was dog pee? Or was it yours?

It could be possible that she could have an infection, more likely though is that the peeing on the bed is a dominance thing. By peeing on the bed she is showing you that SHE is in charge as pack leader, not you. You may want to consider not allowing her to sleep in bed with you to show her that YOU are the pack leader.

A dog won't deliberately soil their bed, so the chances are good she may have some medical problem. I would take her to the vet, and if it happens don't scold her, because it is not her fault.
Good luck!

You let the dog sleep in your bed. Let her sleep in her own bed. I don't know how weather overnight does things to bladder infections.

She could be ill, esp. if she was still on your bed when you found the wet spot. If not, she may be angry with you for some reason (like if you left her home alone all day or something). Mis-placed urination or defecation is often your pet's way of "punishing" you, especially if she's never done it before.

Dogs do this when they feel neglected. and you can stop it by getting a coffee can and put pennies in it and shake it when the dog is misbehave.

You shouldn't let the dog sleep on your bed. That's unsanitary.
