It's a very bad sin. It is so bad that it is hardly ever discussed. Pastors almost never mention it. In the Book of Romans, the apostle Paul speaks about the sin that dares not speak its own name. He was referring to farting.

He goes on for several verses talking about the sin of farting. But never once did he actually say the word.
And incidentally it is not just a sin to fart in church; it is a sin to fart at the dinner table and in many other situations. At a funeral, definitely.

Make no mistake, it is not just a stigma; farting in solemn places is a really serious sin. And you should not treat it in a humorous manner. It's worse than picking your nose.

No, it is not a sin, but you must say to the whole audience in the church: "Excuse me but I have just farted".

Otherwise, that would be a sin (lie because you pretend not to have farted).

The audience will thank you for such a sincerity.

Of course it is! Nah, just kidding, but like any where else--farting around other people just ain't "kosher"! By any chance, do you sit in back pew while at church or smack dab in the middle of all those "lucky" folks? Confess your sins you heathen!

The Good Lord created farts. He would understand and approve. Farts were taken onto the ark with Noah and all the other animals, this is why we have them today.

Why do you think the benches in church are called "pews"? The pews are designed to echo the resounding farts to all creation.

To fart or to no longer fart, it is the question. despite if tis nobler to go through the cramps and chills led to by utilising outragious intake or to strengthen cheek against a sea of stress and by utilising freeing end it. To vacate, to expel, and by utilising a fart to declare we end the heartburn and gurgle that flesh is inheritor to. Tis a end devoutly to be wanted. To pass, to enable go. To enable go possibly to reek. Aye, there is the rub! For who can say what fumes could come whilst we've taken the possibility of being grimy. there is the respect that makes calamity of see you later a sermon. For who might bear the hmmmphs and glares of the choir, the pastors pause, the echo interior the apse, the indignation of the knave interior the nave, the blown out candles that pinpoint the source whilst he himself could his quiatous make with a silent killer. Who might "fartles" bear to grunt and sweat under the too tight belt yet for the terror of gagging grandma. This undiscovered effect from which as quickly as released no transgressor can return puzzles the %, and makes us rather bear the discomfort than take care of the rebel that could happen. for this reason cowardice does make balloons people all, and for this reason the organic "phew!' of evacuation is straight away placed aside and enterprizes of great blaming of the guy next to you their currents turn awry, and lose the call of action. Break wind brother, it's only a sin if you had corned beef and cabbage the night before.

No but if your farts are deadly you might want to think twice about letting one rip.

Only if it is done out of malicious intentions (which would make it a sin wherever it was done).
