yes I would go, I think its a good way to met people and you aren't stuck with one person all night if you don't fancy them

other than looks, and basic personality...What can you learn about a person speed dating? I would rather have the whole evening, and maybe many more, to get to know a person.
Speed dating is just a fad to be able to say "I've dated ## of girls/guys" Face it, have you met anyone that has been married for # years from meeting that way.

It depends on how you interprete the word "Dating", you could be bored, you then meet someone online, meet up at a location, have a drink, chat and part. Meeting new people could be fun when at least you know the person you're meeting is not spooky. I might go, I haven't before and I think it might be a good experience.

I have done - I went with a friend and we tried to not take it too seriously. Turned out to be an odd experience - lots of desperate men at our meeting and none got a tick from either of us!
But I suppose you don't know until you try it - and you may just get lucky!
Personally - never again!
