My Chemistry teacher keeps telling us that "It's coming October 23." We asked her, "WHAT'S coming?" She said we would have to wait and see. But she did tell us that we might be able to figure it out if we did some research.

Avogadro's number is coming!!!! Whoo-hoo!
Avogadro's number, or 6.02 *10 ^23, is the number of objects in one mole of that thing. Hence, October 23rd (10/23) is the day most chem teachers start teaching about moles.
It's a fun lesson. I wouldn't tell your classmates the answer, but I would tell them that you know what it's about.
