If you had the choice between a thin, ugly girl/guy who took no pride in her/his appearance OR a big girl/guy who was pretty/good looking and always took pride in her/his appearance who would you chose and why?

To explain James, I am neither fat or thin, ugly or pretty. I am not asking about myself. I am hapilly married! My daughters mate (boy) refuses to go out with a girl because she is fat (she is gorgeous though) he chose to go out with a soapy girl who never looks clean! I don't understand him and was hoping to get other peoples opinions. I like the bigger girl and don't understand his hang up!

I would take the big girl cause the one who takes care of there appearance has more self esteem and confidence in there self which is good.

It all depends on the beauty inside of course. But I would prefer someone who takes pride in his/her appearance. This is a mirror of the inside: someone who loves her/himself. Most of the time these are pleasant people.
The longer you know someone, the less the appearance matters. Taking pride becomes maybe less important. The test will be Who are you, do I like you and can I count on you to be honest?

Do you consider yourself fat and pretty by any chance? As you made the thinner girl ugly.... I don't mean to be rude but its a shame that you seem to think you need validation this way from men.
Any decent man won't care if you're fat, thin, plain or pretty as long as you have some personality... so try working on that.

If the person is slobby and dirty and smelly, i dont care how slim they look, Poor Higiene in my book is No No, so I'd take the fat clean guy anyday the make him go to the gym and work out LOL

i'd go for the fat person. pride is good, i lack that. and if they have pride, they could lose the weight. but an ugly person cant change unless they get surgery. i could stand someone who doesnt care how they look

Sexiness is about how someone carries them self. I would rather date a confident big guy over a skinny guy who doesn't take much pride in his appearance any day.

Would have to be the chubster for me. There are some sexy fatties out there. One in my work who has an amazing rack and looks pretty good. Im sure she could teach me a thing or two

Fat chick, coz she could always lose weight if she wanted. Those girls with stick thin bodies and big lolly pop heads look creepy.
