InDesign and footnotes?

Is it possible to put footnotes in InDesign documents but not put the footnotes at the bottom of the page? I just need the number next to certain bits of text and I can put the footnote in a notes page at the back of the document.

You can set up a paragraph style with "Include in TOC" Use that paragraph style for the number of the foot note. When you compile the TOC it will give you a list of foot note numbers and what page they appear on.

I run InDesign and Word at the same time when doing research. First of all I make a bibliography for each text I plan to reference and keep them at the top of the Word doc.

As I add foot notes to the InDesign Document I make a citation in the Word doc. I type in the Foot note number. Copy and paste the appropriate bibliography and then add the page number of the original text that the quote appears on.

At the end of the project you can copy and paste the Word doc onto the desired InDesign page.
