What is fascinating is that although the law of entropy is applied to all science, it is not applied to the suedo science of evolution.. As the universe is becoming more and more disordered by randomness and time, it would appear that our DNA is becoming more ordered.
The only thing I have to believe is "God created the Heavens and the Earth". Then everything else after is explained by his design. They have to believe that hundreds of statistically impossible random chance happenings came to make what we are today. That our destiny is nothingness, that there is no purpose for our existence. That is the tragedy.

The poster above is incorrect. We use 100% of our brain. I'm a psychology (bio emphasis) major, so I know.
It came through chance. If you see how suns fuel themselves is through 2 elements. Once these elements combine and re-combine they become new elements until the sun explodes and these elements come in contact with other sources to create all the elements necessary for life. We have found other galaxies with the elements necessary for life although we haven't verified life in them.
Eventually there is a single celled organism with a simple instruction, reproduce. As evolution passes by, we obtained DNA (which are really simple instructions that are believed to come from the much simpler RNA). We also grow based on 7 different parts that are affected by the genetic code (I don't know much in depth of this, but it is very simple unlike what was thought by scientists).
What was it before the big bang? Nobody knows, maybe nothing. If you believe there is a god, who made that god? what makes you think that god wasn't created by another god or that there are 2 or 3 gods? I always thought that it be funny if god had evolved and then he created everything looking like it evolved, in the end it would piss off everybody. haha.

Firstly it should be noted that science can't prove there was a beginning to the universe-that requires advances in the understanding of quantum physics and the development of a theory of quantum gravity, which all sounds very complex, but the bottom line for me is if science can't conclusively provide a starting point for the universe then I'm not going to dismiss the idea that it has always existed.

Why does there have to be any creator? Just because something is outside of our human experience doesn't mean it can't be true... you catholics should know this better than anyone right?
So why attribute the universe to any creator at all? Does there have to be a designer or creator? Just because everything we make has a creator doesn't necessarily carry over to what we created it with. We start with raw materials and make something useful. If the universe is a creation then where did god/creator/whatever get it's raw materials? And even more importantly if everything needs to be created... what created god?

i don't know much about catholics but if u believe in the bible then u would believe God created everything and evolution does not exist

can you tell where the line of circle begins?
I know we human beings think that we can see and understand everything but we don't know even the strenght of our mind. You know that dogs see the world only in black and white and how can you be sure that we're not in same condition compared with whole universe. We use only 2% of our brain powers. How do you know that we're not trying to tell a poem using numbers when we're trying to explain this world in words that actually created we on our own. Can you imagine a dog talking about phisics in english? We must realize that we are supreme to other animals only in that classification that we created on our own. The fact that we don't understand doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. We just are not the cleverest in the world or it doesn't need intelligence to understand the meaning of life, circle of life.

I don't believe in God, I'm an atheist.
I'll believe when I see it, but I respect peoples personal opinions.
There is no heaven or hell, we're like machines, we break and get thrown out, there's no after life..
I've explained this in a post before this one, lol.
Noone knows how the Earth came about (don't bother trying to prove me wrong about God with what I just said), scientists might have some idea how it came about, but they have their excuses too.
I'm not bothered where I'll end up after I'm dead, the fact is I died with self-respect and that I was remembered, from my workings, my friends and just myself.

There is no need for a *who* to create anything. You are using a human model to try to come to the conclusion of the beginnings of the universe.
The human model is the result, not the cause.

No one did. You think someone has to have created dna, etc, because your mind is limited to that construct.
Catholic priests are always discovering stuff. The big bang theory, however, is absurd. Here's something that's not absurd: The French priest who was molested by two seventeen-year old girls.
