karma the way i understand it is the unseen force which one develops through their life. if one does good then good karma is developed but if one does evil or bad things then bad karma is developed. when one develops bad karma this must be overcome or paid back in order to advance to the next highest plane of existence.

If I understand the word karma correctly, we all "believe" in it somewhat. The expression "You reap what you sow" is an example.

I believe in it and it is always at the forefront of my mind when I am about to do something that might harm others, but I haven't always believed in it and there have been occasions in the past when my selfishness had caused others to suffer-I accept the karmic consequences of those actions.
