Can't humans have a tail?

yes they can,, it's very rare and are usually removed at birth,, but I saw a show on TLC or Discovery health about it once!!

We do have a tail, or what is left of one - it is called the coccyx.

The term coccyx comes originally from the Greek language and means, shaped like a cuckoo's beak.

The coccyx is regarded as vestigial in humans, meaning it no longer serves the major functions that it did in earlier species. (Those included supporting a tail and accommodating its nerves.) I had watched on star 1 channel in their program MANO YA NA MANO, that there are three brother with tail in south India. people worship them as angles of HANUMANJI. If possible try to get that episode may be it was 2nd or 3rd.

We aren't designed to have one. Our "tail" is in the coccyx and it has a specific purpose as it sits there.

if you believe in evolution, humans actually used to have tails.........that's why you have a tailbone
