The universe is going to end a couple thousand years yet.
Noone created god except the guy who was on acid.
I am atheist so to come, and once you die you will either be incinerated, or you'll be put into some big box and sunken into the ground, AND I know I'm not incorrect.
The choice of wheather there's a god or not is entirely up to the people who want to believe it..I know this might not be you, but some people use god as an excuse for all their 'sins' - but however; I respect their opinions :)
There is no after life..humans are like machines, they are made and eventually there's a time where they break or cease to work, noone can stop it.
But when life does finally end, that's it, you're dead, machine broke, no 'after life spirits' or anything, it's over.
It might be a little bit sad I know, you probably asked this question because someone you know or a relative is soon to pass away, I don't mean any gloom, but that's just the way it is.

Edit Add:
I'm reading up, and I see a lot of things talking about god, there is noone greater than human kind, if you're all such god freaks then read the bible "There is no greater god but he", I mean geez, talk about self-elivation.

To dust you are an to dust you will return; Genesis 3:19.
This does exclude those with the *heavenly hope* who die or are *changed/transformed/raptured* during the presence/coming of Jesus; 1Thessalonians 4:17.
John 5:28,29 All those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out...
No one created God;
Isaiah 43:10b Before me there was no God and after me there continued to be none. I-I am YHWH/Jehovah and besides me there is no savior.
The universe will never end!!....
Psalms 148:4 Praise him, you heavens of the heavens, And you waters that are above the heavens.
5) Let them praise the name of Jehovah; For he, himself commanded, and they were created.
6) And he keeps them standing *forever, to time indefinite,* A regulation he has given, and it will not pass away.

We go to God when we die.................God is the ALMIGHTY KING of this Universe. Nobody did create Him but He created the whole universe. Only God will decide the end of this Universe. Don't give pressure to your mind through thinking these questions just have Faith is Him.
GOD is the answer to your question

You will stay right here but just at a different level of vibration and the universe and God is eternal. I'm telling you these things but I'll let you into a secret-deep down you already know all the answers. You only need to become spiritually awakened to be aware of them.

How did reality get started in the first place?
When we die our minds and souls dissolve because they are just functions of the hardware which decomposes and soon only bones remain. But don't be sad. You still have many years ahead of you. Get rich, be happy, do kind deeds, yell curses at truck drivers.

Well, if you remain whole, you go into a coffin and into the ground. If you get creamated, then you will sit in an urn on someone's mantle. As for your soul, don't worry.......there is no heaven and there is no hell. When you die, you just go sleep for a long time until yo crumble into nothing.

It depends on which cemetary you've picked out or where they decide to take your ashes, if you were cremated.
Man created the concept of god, and many pretend its real.
The universe will probably last for a few billion more years, at least, so it doesn't really matter. I won't be around then.

No one created God, because he is the creator of all things, after you die physically if you believe in Jesus you will go to heaven, if not you will go to hell.

It depends on our consciousness at the time of death. We transmigrate to another material body if we want to continue to enjoy this material world, or we are transfered to the kingdom of God, if our only desire is to serve Him with love.
God has no source other than Himself.
Regarding the duration of existence of this universe, it might be interesting for you to read this purport for Bhagavad-gita 8.17 by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada:
"The duration of the material universe is limited. It is manifested in cycles of kalpas. A kalpa is a day of Brahmā, and one day of Brahmā consists of a thousand cycles of four yugas, or ages: Satya, Tretā, Dvāpara and Kali. The cycle of Satya is characterized by virtue, wisdom and religion, there being practically no ignorance and vice, and the yuga lasts 1,728,000 years. In the Tretā-yuga vice is introduced, and this yuga lasts 1,296,000 years. In the Dvāpara-yuga there is an even greater decline in virtue and religion, vice increasing, and this yuga lasts 864,000 years. And finally in Kali-yuga (the yuga we have now been experiencing over the past 5,000 years) there is an abundance of strife, ignorance, irreligion and vice, true virtue being practically nonexistent, and this yuga lasts 432,000 years. In Kali-yuga vice increases to such a point that at the termination of the yuga the Supreme Lord Himself appears as the Kalki avatāra, vanquishes the demons, saves His devotees, and commences another Satya-yuga. Then the process is set rolling again. These four yugas, rotating a thousand times, comprise one day of Brahmā, and the same number comprise one night. Brahmā lives one hundred of such "years" and then dies. These "hundred years" by earth calculations total to 311 trillion and 40 billion earth years. By these calculations the life of Brahmā seems fantastic and interminable, but from the viewpoint of eternity it is as brief as a lightning flash. In the Causal Ocean there are innumerable Brahmās rising and disappearing like bubbles in the Atlantic. Brahmā and his creation are all part of the material universe, and therefore they are in constant flux."
So this universe exists 311 trillion and 40 billion earth years.
