The soul is dominated by the flesh, and as earthly creatures we respond first to fleshly desires, and secondly to spiritual. The key to true growth as humans is to reverse the two---emphasize the spiritual over the fleshly. Read Romans Chapter 8 for enlightenment on this.

Our spirit and our body make up what we call the soul. Our spirit uses our body to speak, think, feel, and be a person.
It's who WE are. Our bodies simply house our spirit.

When we die our spirit leave our body. When we resurrect, our spirit will be rejoined with our body, but to a perfect, immortal and resurrected body.

We are all spirit children of Heavenly Father.
And there are some things that we understand and KNOW spiritually, and we don't have a way of explaining them through our minimal language or know how to prove these feelings and thoughts.

Hope that makes sense. If you have more Q's, feel free to contact me. You seem to have a lot. :)

There are no "spirits" or "souls" - those are just words describing some of how our bodies work. In that sense then, yes, they're prisoners in our bodies. They're not separate entities.

The eternal spirit is ever present but one must have the faith.
The soul is the living mortal body ,a vessle of clay, and if too weak it cannot house nor use a strong spirit.

Gosh, I thought that "spirit" and "soul" were the same thing...

But well, yes I think that it really is prisoner in your body.

Maybe it will free itself some day. I wonder what will happen then.

There are no souls. There are no spirits. It's just your body with a brain in it.

Your soul exists only in your imagination so you are at liberty to make it speak as much as you want. But I wouldn't mention the voices to other people.
