Yes but i learned to get over it after one particular incident.
I 17 at the time ( some 25 years ago ) I was being very grown grown up and went into my local chemist and placed a pack of condoms on the counter at which point the lady serving me decided to have alaugh at my expense and announced to everyone in the shop ( maybe 6 other woman customers and staff alike) that this young man was planning abig night out.
She went on to say are you sure one packet of three is going to be enough- Ha ha ha.
I looked her straight in the eye and said as loudly as she had spoken yes you are right let me have another packet at which point everyone in the shop laughed.
I paid my money walked about three paces towards the door with snigger's ringing in my ear turned back and very loudly said to the woman in the shop.
TELL YOUR DAUGHTER I WILL PICK HER UP AT 7
At which point everybody laughed loudly ( but not at me) I had become a real man.
If you are grown up enough to have sex you are grown up enough to buy condoms.

No, on occasion i've gone into a supermarket or chemist solely to buy condoms and have wlaked out feeling good.
sometimes the person on the til doesn't even look at what they are, they just look for the bar code or price and put in a bag.
Think of it this way... at least you're getting some ;-) and the shop clerk might be envious.

OH YES.... I am nearly 30 and I came off the pill to clear my system before we tried for a baby, so we had to use condoms. I went sooooooo red in the supermarket & I'd hide them understuff in my basket. I don't know why it is so embarrasing as it proves you are being sensible and taking responsibility.
TIP: Buy a HUGE box, so you don't have to go back for a while!.

I don't buy condoms, but I feel embarrassed when I say " Have a great night" to the consumer who bought them. I say it then laugh because I tell anyone who I ring up "Have a great night". It dawns on me after I guess they will.

every once in a while i have to buy condoms for my gun stuff it helps keep stuff dry and lubs the stuff so it does not rust so i allways by the x large ones and then go to the yougest looking girl working. some times i get a funny look becuse they have no idea what iam doing with them haha

Dont listen to the people that are just plain rude telling you to grow up.
Yes it is embarassing for alot of people, but as someone already mentioned... "buy them online".
You could even go to your local health clinic and get them there for free. At least then there is no chance of everyone seeing what it is you have brought and what your going to be doing when you get home!!!

Nope, except for the one time when all the supermarket had were the packs of 12. The checkout girl gave me quite the knowing grin.

Yeah, I do. They always put the condoms in a high-traffic area of the drug store, and there's always some freakish guy hanging around looking at you while you're trying to make your choice!!!

Not at all - buying condoms shows that you are mature enough and responsible enough to care about yourself and your partner. Even if you get silly grins at the checkout, thats just normal, it just comes with it like me taking pleasure in sending my husband to buy me tampons ;)

Nope...i buy them in party packs as well to reduce the number of times i have to visit the Chemist!! Hey.. we all like s-x, and its a good thing to take precautions!!
The best precaution to take.. is lock the door.. she cant get out then!! hahahhahahaa
