It's the word ILLEGAL that is confusing people. No one is against immigration itself, only ILLEGAL immigration. This country wants legal immigrants, this country needs legal immigrants. It does not need ILLEGALS. Why would anyone want to be a permanent underclass by staying illegal? As an illegal they are NOT entitled to the same rights as LEGAL immigrants. No country allows ILLEGALS to dictate how they will handle criminals. Only in the US can you come here illegal and demand the same rights as legal immigrants and citizens.

They are legally entitled to some things in the US. You can thank our president for that, signing a bill that allows illegal immigrants to get a job, not pay taxes, free health care... and now, will be able to collect social security... all without ever becoming a citizen.
Of course, they get even more benefits than that if they become a citizen, but most of them avoid that as they aren't here to live here. They are here to get as much money as they can to feed their 20 kids back home.

If America would impose the immigration laws that are already here, There wouldn't be any illegals. Put the employers on notification that their business will be shut down if they continue hiring illegals. No jobs, no more border crossings.

I agree with you

I wonder what out politicians don't understand about the term "illegal".

They let those people come here illegally and force us to pay for different services for them, even let them get drivers licenses, etc.

But let them catch ME going 60 in a 55 zone and see what they do to me.

sad

Illegals are entitled to only one thing-to be thrown back across the border.

Some people do not see any reason why young children born on one side of a river should have everything while those born on the other have nothing.

Why are you asking this question in the religion and spirituality section?

If you are a christian then there are no borders. All of these people are your brothers.

If you do not see all of these people as your brothers then you are not a christian.
