It shows that he's responsible and can care for a family. So if that's what the woman is looking for, then yeah she might find him attractive. She's also probably aware that there's a woman somewhere in the background (like someone above said); so that can mean trouble.
But I think that if the man has the child full-time, the chances of trouble are less. Usually the trouble comes in with child support, joint custody, and so on. Not that there wouldn't be any issues to deal with when the man has the child; but I think usually it would be less...

It depends mainly on the character of the child...
I have dated a colleague at work, who had a 9 and a 6-years old sons; although I might have given up with the guy alone, the boys were so sweet, that I stayed in the relationship just for them.
We even discussed of marriage but then his ex wife came from abroad and menaced that if he got married, she would take the kids away with her ; he chose the kids: I would have done the same.

To me, it usually does. As long as he's a caring, loving father who helps take care of the child, not a deadbeat who couldn't tell you the kids birthday or best friend. Since I'm a single mom, I usually look for good single dad's since we do have that one thing in common. Also, they would understand when things come up involving the children. Also, it will show me if I would eventually want the guy around my kids by the way he treats his. So in my opinion, yeah. I tend to find single dads more attractive.

If a man takes care of their child, willingly, full time and is able to provide for them can be a very attractive attribute. I think that several children is a turn off but one or two wouldn't be so bad.

if you like the man and talking about yourself , go for it if he's a single dad

mabye yes , sometimes i do get attracted to men with kids its like i get touched that he's taking care of his kid like what a caring father he is .. etc.. but to date dem is a no no unless im sure that hes really divorce/widowed.

single women with the same baggage... yes. if they really like you anyways... yes... but honestly its a huge turnoff... that means that something in past relationships happened... unless your ex died or was a ***** and left you with both yours and hers child(ren) ... then its not a turnoff... it all depends on the story...
