Kellog's crunchy nut cornflakes - the trouble is, they taste too good!

Well I really loved Kellogs Crunchy Nut Red but they stopped selling that, here at least. It was great and the the supermarket own version definitely did not live up to trying to copy it.

Another one I loved, that they only brought out for a very short time was rice crispies with honey. They were delicious and not horribly sweet like frostie type things are to me.

At the moment my favourites are Kellogs Crunchy Nut Clusters Summer Berries, yummy. BUT the packs are far too wee now adays, if you have a family one of those small, expensive packs must last you about 1 day! I also love Jordans Country Crisp Wild about berries, but I can't get them in my local supermarket either anymore.

Has anyone else noticed how when you find a food that you really love, it seems to be the one they stop making? Oops I've answered a question with another question again!

Oatmeal, Cheerios, Shredded Wheat, Fiber One, All Bran, Wheaties, Cream of Wheat, Cream of Rice, Farina, Grits, and Grape Nuts are all pretty decent breakfast cereal choices and some may even assist in fighting heart disease. Take note however, that the Cheerios and Wheaties contain almost 300 mg's of sodium. That's almost 3 times the amount that is in a single serving of potato chips.

Crunchy nut cornflakes but not very healthy so I mostly have porridge or the new oatibix and add my own fresh fruit and nuts. When I was a kid I loved Readybrek and thought everybody could see an orange ring around me when I walked to school. Remember the advert?

Any of the Kashi "Go Lean" brand. Very nutritious and delicious. A close runnerup: Post Honey Clusters of Oats (with almonds--yum!)
