Msmith - my local (Sheaf View, Sheffield) has Budvar on tap (both light and dark versions). However the best beer in the world without a doubt is Kelt. It's a brew like Guinness only much nicer. Available in the Marquis De Sade bar in Prague. Some runners up include Paulaner (either dark or light), Wentworth Black Zac, Theakston's Old Peculier, Porterhouse Plain Porter (or chocolate truffle stout when available), Hambleton Zulu, York Centurion's Ghost, and Peroni (preferably the red label).
The worst? Budweiser, Boddingtons and absolutely anything Australian (with the exception of VB)

There are so many excellent small brands in Belgium that it is hard to say... Among the beers that are commercially more successful than the small brands I would say Grolsch or Carlsberg are the best ones.

Budweiser is Sh*t. I like apint of the Czech beer BUDVAR. It's the original bud before budweiser stole it's name (creating a big legal battle, blah blah) You can get it on tap in the Czech Rep. and it's lovely! In the UK/US I think you can only get it bottles?
