God said nothing about homosexuals...the Bible is the word of man not the word of God...men worte it! men compiled it! men altered and faked it into the artifact it is now become.
When Christians declare war on homosexuals and say they must change...this is offensive to gays and unacceptable.

First, I'd like to stress that Christians should (but many times don't) understand that we are to "hate the sin but love the sinner." This applies to adulterers, murderers, fornicators and other sinners as much as it applies to homosexuals. One sin is not worse than another in God's eyes -- with the exception of unbelief. If a person repents and turns away from a sinful lifestyle, whether it's routine adultry, homosexuality, theft, lying, ect., they are FORGIVEN. A person who refuses to give up a sinful lifestyle cannot be forgiven. It's really that simple.
Primarily, the Christian position regarding homosexuality is based on two portions of NT Scripture: 1 Corinthians 6:9 and Romans 1:18-32. The most controversial of these is 1 Cor. 6:9, because certain irresponsible folks have purposefully mistranslated the meaning of the words "malakos" (translated as "effeminate" in the KJV) and "arsenokoites" (translated as "abusers of themselves with mankind," in the KJV, i.e. homosexuals). One web site that perpetuates these mistranslations is "soulforce.org": http://www.soulforce.org/article/homosex... These folks argue Paul "made up" the words "malakos" and "arsenokoites," and we cannot be certain what they really mean. Soulforce postulates these words only condemn male prostitution. This is blatently incorrect.
Ask any reputable Greek scholar about this controversy; after he/she rolls his/her eyes in complete exasperation, you will be told this: "malakos" is an established Greek word and means "soft or fancy." "Arsenokoites" is a combination of words: "arsen" means male; "koite" means bed, although it's also a pun meaning coitus. Put together, this word refers to homosexual activity.
Romans 1:18-32 speaks about women who "did change the natural use into that which is against nature" are condemned, as are men who, "leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet." As far as I am aware, there are no translation controversies here.
Again, it is the sin, NOT the sinner, that's an abomination.
Peace.

The Lord loves homosexuals as much as He loves anyone else. He wants everyone to come to know him. He's not offended by them at all. The sin is what offends Him because it seperates us from Him.
He doesn't like the sin, no, but he still loves the person more than can be imagined.
Also, a lot of people seem to think that God is "sending people to Hell," and I can understand how someone could come to that conclusion without knowing any better, but that's simply not the case. The Lord is trying to save people FROM Hell. He doesn't send people; we're already bound and on our way. He went through a great deal of trouble to send his Son to die for us, so that we can have an extremely easy way to come to Him and avoid Hell.
He's done his part; all that's left is our part. If you believe Jesus is the Son of God who died on the cross, so that we can be forgiven for our sins and you verbally accept him as your savior, then you're saved. That's it.

It is not the person that God hates, but the sin. God created the person, but the person chooses to sin. It is the sin that the person needs redemption from, and for that God has given us the blood of Jesus. God hates sin in ALL people. God is no respecter of persons, meaning he will not set aside his dislike for sin for any person or specific group of persons. The Jews are God's chosen people, but time and time again God has delivered Israel into bondage because of their sin. Homosexuality is ultimately a choice. Trying to use the excuses of upbringing or genetics just does not wash with God. God cannot be fooled by the cleaver devices of men. Sinners of all categories need to face up to their sin and repent. God will except no excuses.

God is prejudiced to homosexuality. He did not create gay people. He commanded to multiply and replenish the earth, not be homosexual with each other and end the human race. You cannot procreate with the same sex.
It's immoral, UNNATURAL, disgusting, perverted, wrong.
Read about Sodom and Gomorrah in the bible. God destroyed it because they were all homosexuals and fornicators and adulterers. Where do you think the word Sodomy came from? Sodomy means sex in the butt hole, which came from Sodom and Gomorrah.
Pretty obvious.
Don't be a Christian, or believe in God at all if you're going to be gay, or you're a hypocrite, an oxy-moron, a liar.

God went far out of his way to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah... two cities that was almost 100% homosexuals.
And this tells me that God does not approve of the homosexual lifestyle.

because they are turning their back on God by living that lifestyle.
and if u turn your back on God then your saying u don't love Him, so what else is He supposed to do
If he lets homosexuals in heaven then he is gonna have to
let every1 in and .......
then there wouldn't be a hell,
but then heaven would be just like the earth is today
then he would have to start all over
its in the bible that he doesn't approve of it so they have a choice , do that now and when they die face the consequences of their actions
or
live by the word of God and go to heaven
so basically ,
it isn't God's doing ,
its theirs

lisa bug,
do you really think that gay people do not have sex with straight people? maybe you should watch the movie "the birdcage", starring robin williams. he played a gay man who has a son. where did he get a son? adopted? no... he had sex with a woman.
gay people have sex with straight people to make children. they just prefer to have sex with other gay people.

God says, " IT IS A SIN" but He also says adultery is a sin. Does that make it right because I do it.....No it is a Sin....still a sin. Call it what it is. Does that make it worse than any other sin? Would you care if your mother had sex with other men than your Father? It is a sin....
