Recruit an Army Drill Sargent and give him your words. Ask him to help you practice your spelling. He/She won't let you fail.
You can ACE your spelling bee with diligence and the drive that it takes not to fail. Write every word on your list(however many there are) and get definitions of each word. Use each word in a sentence that you also write on paper. Then just like a drill Sargent would, command that you learn that word. Engrave it into your brain that you can't forget it. It is hard but since you crave to learn, it should come to you as second nature. All words are useful. And all that you learn from your spelling bee just makes you a better person, and a more intelligent person for participating. Good luck :))

Read more, and invest in a good quality dictionary and encyclopedia....they will help you to spell correctly, and to understand the words you are looking up....
