Modern time is definitely Tiger but all time no comparison...Jack Nichlaus. Has done more for golf then anyone and didn't have some big company like Nike making state of the art equipment for him so he could drive the ball 400 yards. Hell if I could drive that far I would probably be the best. If still unsure about who is the greatest, watch the last Masters Jack won... no question about it.

Tiger Woods, Jack, Sam Jones(not Bobby). Someone remarked Jack because he did more for golf than anyone. Like what. Tiger has exponentially increased the purses of PGA tournaments. All current golfers own their high quality of life to Tiger. Quarter mil for second place? Wow! He has also taken golf from the country club to mainstream America. Kids think golf is cool. That's cool. Tiger is the best thinking, creative athlete golf has ever seen.
