Do only which are uniformly acceptable to both.
Don't do anything which will dertimentally affect.
If you are in a situation of live-in relationship, it is but natural to have an idea of what are the do's and dont's of it.

Do not give ex's your home phone number. If there is a male/female friend introduce them to your partner. Do cook and clean, don't put everything on the other. remember this is like being married except there is no rings, papers, no saying I do and al that. We all have secrets (cheating) if you don't want them to be found out, stop!

do be kind and respectful, caring and helpful
be yourself but know that your partner is important
give partner space and walk a round time, you also do not think that he has to be glued to you
dont nag, do not argue over little stuff save it for the big stuff
it is a adjustment for both of you to share living space, you are a couple but still your own person ,enjoy the company but still do your thing with friends and family
