Al Gore is a typical, biased liberal who is nothing more than a clown and a buffoon. As a former active duty soldier from the US Army, I took great offense during the election of 2000 when Al Gore did everything he could to discredit the votes from our men and women serving overseas because he knew that the majority of those who risk their lives for this country vote Republican.
A perfect example is his latest liberal propaganda "An Inconvenient Truth", which is nothing more than a smear attempt to scare everyone into voting Democrat. Engineer and editor Patrick Bedard has an excellent article in the September issue of "Car and Driver" in which he includes the research from climatologist Richard S. Lindzen of MIT.
According to Dr. Lindzen, nature generates 30 times more carbon dioxide than man's activities. Water vapor, almost entirely caused by nature, is by far the biggest contributor to the greenhouse effect. Greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide and methane, contribute less than 2 percent of the greenhouse effect.
His estimate is that man made carbon dioxide is responsible for 0.1 % of the greenhouse effect. In other words, 99.9 % comes from the planet itself, yet Gore cannot tell this truth if he wants to keep up the scare tactics.

He has very legitimate concerns, though other factors, including the natural changes in our planet, generally get ignored, even by the conservatives. We are doing bad things to our planet, and whether now or later, it will become a problem. I just wish they gave more accurate data in comparing current world temperatures to the past. It has only been 150 years since the end of the Little Ice Age, when northern temperatures dropped, ruining crops in the north, and leading to one of the main causes of our civil war. The north wanted their crops, but not pay the prices the south was demanding.
What do they use as the norm to say that global warming is taking place? Ice packs receding? How much had they grown as a result of the little ice age? In fact, if it wasn't for it, we would all be Vikings.
There are just too many unanswered questions to say that Gore is completely right, but the fact is, something does need to be done.

Why didn't he do more for the environment and social justice when he was in power - or at least close to power is probably the right phrase for VP? A bit like Roy Hattersley who is now the Voice of Socialism - rather the right-wing sniveller he was when Deputy Labour Party leader!

Like many of us here, he has a cause and believes in it (the environmental issues). Since he so narrowly lost the elections, he is looking for another "raison d'être" and preaches his beliefs.
And why not...!
At least in Germany they have a political party, "The Greens", which are actually well represented in the Government. But what does the US have....(no further comment).

His prophethood is not confirmed from the known sources yet. He was a good man, sure! May be or may not be.

He is the shadow of god on earth. He is the saviour of souls and other stuff. He talks to god everyday. But for some strange reason the god talks to W instead of him. Quite puzzling if you ask me.
