After basic training you can request a skirt as part of your uniform still. I don't think the AF allows men to wear skirts. Also you can wear your hair in a nice chignon and leave some hair to frame the edges of your face. Stockings (pantyhose) are nice as well.

During basic training there really isn't much you can or will want to do. They will make sure you are tired enough to not really care who is 'cute' or 'girly'. Also, don't get sidetracked by the 'girly-girls'. They are the ones who won't last 2 years.

Being a girl is fun, but being yourself is awesome.

Well maybe you can put some clear lip gloss on or maybe some light makeup. And from time to time wear a girly shirt or maybe even a skirt. If you are a tomboy them little things will be good too.

I agree that girly is for when your off duty but a girl with bangs always stands out. It emphasis's the eyes and cheek bones.
Plus it's low maintenance. You don't have to carry anything with you into the feild with you.

why do you want to be more girly? you rock! The fact that you have a high voice, female bone structure and breasts will set you apart already. Okay maybe I am being full of crap here, how about painting your toenails - i kid you not. Most people wont even see it but you know it there. Wear beautiful underwear - same premis as the toenails.

You can't when you're in BDUs and you're not supposed to. The whole purpose of being in a uniform is so you DO look all alike. That's why it's called "uniform:..

Being "girly" is for your off time, not when you're in uniform.

Last time I knew...trying to look anything other than like every one else got you hit for "unsat"s.

Ok. Ist you need to get into the "girly" mood. Then, borrow a beauty book. Then all you have to do is go shopping, spray tan, skin /facial and all you have to do is to get rid of that tomboy look and get in ti your mood! Do what other girly girls do1

Some great tips which worked out for me! Have long hair and let your hair down, start putting on makeup (natural but stands out, if necessary, go for makeup classes) and wear skirts with boots, they work out great! Put on nail polish and more jewellery. Start wearing tube with jackets around. They look great. Give yourself a fab, new, hot look.

Try wearing makeup and eye shadow, if you don't currently. The fact that you also have the face of a female, breasts, etc. should also set you apart already.

It is true that uniforms are regulation, but you have control over how you smell. Always use a nice light cologne, this will make you feel feminine and pretty.
