Come my next paycheck I should be able to be 100% free from debt but how bad is just the idea of being reported to creditors? I think I am gonna be reported on 2 bills.

Looks like I need to get a credit report because according to this credit company that turned me down for some credit the reasons cited were
- Serious delinquency
- Time since delinquency is too recent or unknown
&
- Number of accounts with delinquency.

ABSOLUTELY !! Its starts small and only gets bigger... Generally those within it never get out and are the sorry losers I deal with everyday.

If you have no intention of paying for something, how dare you / they screw over someone and bring stress into their life ! The people you are screwing over have bills to.

Shame on everyone who ever has been to collections... the world provides ample opportunity to get your butt out of a hole and turn your life around... no excuses !!

There I got that off my chest... : )

It is NOT GOOD to be reported to creditors. It goes on your credit report and can affect future loans or credit card applications plus the interest rate that you get.
It tells them you can't pay your bills on time or are overextended.
MORTGAGES should always be paid first and on time before your other payments. This is the most important.

It also depends on the 2 creditors that are reporting you.

I regularly report people to collections, and if you pay right away (say, within a month of being reported), then no problem! :)
