Before you start I haven't lost it its not under my bed!
I have a sence of Humor and I am looking for a Religion which can accomodate that, due to the fact I will be getting married soon.
From questions posted on this site which are quickly deleted due to faith I want to make sure I dont get involved in a Humorless following and end up wasting my time and theirs and possibly upsetting them in the proccess.
Have been told Spiritual Churches are quite fun, so any funny true stories from Churches of All faithes would be truely appreciated, or as an alternative explanations as to why certain faiths have no sence of humor.
Thanks for any help, and keep smiling people of the world!

Come on people I have thought about them all including Taoism. What I need is evidence of fun and laughter which equals to me love and at the end of the day thats what we are ment to be taught about unconditional love and freedom for guilt and sin.
So come on dont just get an easy 2 points tell me about Vicars with uncontrolable giggles and stuff!

Ok thank you all for your great input.
Could I ask you to all add your current Faith to the bottom of your answers I think that will be the best way of clearing this up.
Cheers,

I second the person who said Pastafarianism. It's awesome and every Friday is a Holy day. We also get a very cool beer volcano and stripper factory in our afterlife.

Don't know if you've ever checked out Paganism but we keep a pretty good sense of humor. In fact, I think it's required. No guilt trips or threats, no pressure to join or convert. No claims of the 'right way' or 'only way'. Just a cool path to explore spirituality. Questions are encouraged, seeking the truth is too. If you ever felt like checking it out, you could start here http://www.google.com/Top/Society/Religion_and_Spirituality/Pagan/
Always good to have more free thinkers with a sense of humor.
Pagan funnys this way--> http://www.paganlibrary.com/humor/index.php

Peace and have fun looking at paths. If you're keeping your humor then you'll have fun wherever you go.

I have read and examined a lot of spiritual texts including the Bible, Bhavigad Gita, Upanishads, Torah, Talmud, Zohar, Tibetan book of the dead, Tao Te Ching.....
I have been to church, temple, mosque and worshiped with Christains, Jews, Buddhists, Muslims and Hindus

After doing all this the book that I read about all this stuff that makes the most sense is Eckhart Tolle's "The Power of Now"

Buy the CD version of this book and listen to it slowly and meditate to it....it will help you understand the nature of religion and spirituality....and here’s a clue....there is a universal intelligence and whether you call it GOD or the source or whatever it doesn't matter...and here is another clue......you get to this source by looking within...not without.

Good Luck, Namaste and many Wishes of Loving Kindness!!

Well, I think Christians should be happy, as you said. Because, what brings you more happiness than to know you´re saved by Someone who loves you so much? Jesus is a happy God too.

I tell you about Seventh-day Adventist church. It depends on each church, but most of them have camping, dinners and games Saturday night, clubs, some travelings, holiday celebrations, youth groups, etc. At least that´s what we have in my local church. But I´ve even heard about churches having hiking, snowboarding, picnics, walking, biking, and some other stuff. But am sure camping is one of the things everybody has in common.

You can check up the following websites for information:
www.seventh-dayadventist.org
www.saccentral.org

It´s very important for a church to be spiritually, but socially is very important too. We should strengthen our relationship with God and our brothers.

Congratulations for your marriage, and may God bless you!

Religions shouldn't accomodate you. You should accomodate it. You can make any religion fun, it's all in how you look at it. It's not that the religion doesn't have any sense of humor, it's that people aren't living life to the fullest, so have absolutly no funny bone. They enjoy bringing others down.

Join a religion where you get saved, and once you are saved you are always saved. All sins commited after you are saved were died for by Jesus, and so you will go to heaven no matter what.

Anytime you investigate a religion ask them about their policy regarding this. You don't want a religion that can't give you a 100% guarantee of a seat in heaven.

Why? Because if you are normal you want to enjoy life here and still enjoy life after death. You want your cake and eat it too, and there are religions that can provide that.

I found a place where I can joke, where I can think, and where I can learn.

I will not tell you where your place like that is - you need to work out what beliefs you have beyond 'getting married' and 'having a sense of humor'.

If you want to look into what does it for me... check out the link.

Don't look for religion, look for the truth! Only one can be right. I'm sure most faiths have a funny side to them, but that doesn't make them the truth.

Oh! greatboy, you dont look for religion but you UNDERSTUDY religion in order to ascertain the truth of religions. However, religion is like a road, one is BROAD and SPACIOUS having many peoples flowing in and this broad and spacious road leads to death and destruction while the other is CRAMP and NARROW- few peoples are the ones flowing in their and this cramp and narrow road leads to life. ...Mattew chapter 7: verse 13 and 14. So, stop a little while and ask urself greatboy, what is the import of this statement as regards to religion since it is said that BY THEIR FRUITS YOU SHALL KNOW THEM- John chapter 13 verse 34 and 35.

So, if you are looking for a religion, i suggest you sit down and pray to that provider of religion to show you a religion of your heart choice.

Is it neccessary for you to belong to some religion? I can see that you're quite happy without religious rituals. Maybe you just go on making others smile. That's very good thing. You don't need any religion to be happy and make others happy because it's what make us feel right.

It seems to me that your interest isn't in religion but funny stories to share. There is joy in all religions that don't have to go to the haha route. Ministers share humorous stories with thier congregations yes. But what does humor have to do with religious choice or belief or where you worship. Perhaps you should question your motives and rethink your query.
