There is only 1 true God, and he has communicated with man through only 1 source. He is not confused or disorganized as his creation shows incredible order.
It is humans that become confused and therefore worship many things. 1 Cor. 8:5
Added to this is a great enemy that desires the worship that belongs to God. This enemy has no standards, only requirement is to not do what God wills. Therefore he has promoted literally 1000's of different forms of unacceptable worship.
Each human has the responsibility to find the truth about God.
1st step is to become convinced of his existence.
Then of his concern or care for humans. After that finding the source of his communication isn't difficult as it stands clearly above the rest.
Keep searching.
