hey kookiejohn: The Mexicans don't obey their own laws, why are we stuck obeying "their" laws that they don';t follow, if you're an American lawyer who goes by yourself to Mexico, chances are you won't return, you will just dissappear. People from Mexico come her because 75% of the police forcde is corrupt. Play by the rules????there aren't any down there. And I guess you don't comprehend the factthat OJ, Patty Hearst and other well to do people never pay the consequences of their behavior. Sorry but this is probably what's behind the arrest. Not familiar with the name Max Factor, are you?

There is no point in answering your question. Several people have given you the reasons he was arrested. Why are you bitching at them? They didn't arrest him. You are arguing with the wrong people.

But I did like the Great Society, if that cheers you up.

If you expect other people to come here and respect our laws, we must set an example and make sure that our citizens also respect the laws of whatever country they visit or enter. That is why so many countries hate Americans; they say that Americans do not respect other countries' cultures or their laws. Ignorance is no excuse, and in his case, he KNEW he was doing something wrong. There are procedures that must be followed. Mexico would have gladly handed over the Max Factor heir for prosecution but just as we have our laws and legal procedures, they have theirs, too.

If we do not respect their laws, how can we expect them to respect OUR laws? All this whining about illegal immigrants when the issue is not about illegal immigrants...?

It's so funny the way the bigots want Dog to be allowed to break laws but those hard working immigrants that do the dirtiest jobs here and are underpaid and cheated every single day for wanting to raise their families and live in peace are persecuted and people yell, "They broke the law!" but do not say a single thing in favor of Dog having broken established laws? I don't understand the the flimsy, nonsensical excuses to justify either issue? Hey, Dog loves to moralize... let's hear his moralizing a now! Fair is fair!
