There is information about every kind of visa available, including tourist, student, business, spouse, etc.
If you mean another country, try that country's homepage; just type the country's name in a google search and look for an official government site.

1. study
2. bussiness
3. turism
4. health care
5. religious
6. transit
either they r printed out on a sticker paper & put on a passport page... or like an official stamp (but a big 1) that is printed out on the page of the passport...
