Does he have a girlfriend that prefers circumcised men? It's odd that he is considering it now. Doctors are no longer recommending it for newborns. As long as his hygiene is good, there is no reason to do it. It will make the head less sensitive. The pain involved will make it a big deal. Ouch.

My husband is circimsized and I have never been with an uncircumsized man. I would think the removal of the foreskin would make it smoother to the feel and less chance for infection. Some forskins are looser than others- I knew a little boy that kept getting infections there - until he got circumsized, My son is circumsized too. I am a nurse and know a bit about anatomy. Take care. Debby

The only thing I've heard is that it will take a lot of the sensitivity out of your husband's pleasure. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't have gotten my son circumcised.

There are plenty of reasons not to be circumsized. First, there is the risk of complication. Second, he will lose sensitivity in the glands. Tell him to do some research before making that big of a decision.

First of all, you didn't say anything about the purpose. What is the purpose? And how did he start thinking about it? Did the idea come out of the blue for no reason at all, and now you are both mystified? Maybe your first question should be HOW DID HE GET THIS IDEA?

I have tried them both out. As far as how it feels to me, no difference. For oral sex, BIG difference. More work for you when they are not cut. As far as hygeine goes. If he bathes everyday, no problem. The hygeine thing is a myth. My dad had it done in his 30's. Not sure why, but I do recall he was in alot of pain.

I'd want to know why he is thinking about this now? Has another woman entered the picture?

There is no problem whatsoever provided that you both wait the short time until he is properly healed.
