There is none - Western religion is all a huge lie perpetrated by priests who like to bugger their choirboys.

But seriously, a 'sinner' is someone who breaks their gods commandments and instructions, (thats EVERYBODY to some extent), whereas the saint is eleveated to that position by representatives of the church in recognition of their extreme commitment to the church (through martyrdom or good works -Joan of Arc / Mother Theresa)

Being a sinner (in small doses) would not preclude someone being made a saint.

Someone decided that a saint has done enough good in their life to overshadow the sins they commited. Saints are sinners too, but have redeemed theirselves in people's eyes.

sinners more than not think that they are saints, and saints think that they are sinners. Also I have never met a person who has not sinned, and I have never met a saint.
Anyone who claims to be a saint... in my mind is delusional.

Very simple...
Saints choose to obey God's holy word of Torah
Sinners choose to disobey.

Where God says not to murder, not to lie, not to steal, saints choose to live according to what God says is correct to do. Sinners choose other paths which usually have acts that God prohibites, like murder.
