we hear nothing about these years ...only a story about his birth then a total blank until the last three years of his life.

There is serious doubt as to the authenticity of that story it appears to be a much later insertion.

He did what the rest of the fairy tale folks did... play in the fields with talking piggies and wolves.

It would have been too time consuming to put into the Bible. Besides, the people that decided what went into the Bible had certain criteria they based what books went into the Bible, and Jesus as a toddler had no Spiritual significance, nor did the other years leading up to when he first appeared.

I don't know the answer but wanted to post on here because i too would like to know this. I would like to read about this exact subject if it is at all possible so if anyone can tell us where to read about it, please do.
Stephanie... ive read the bible but the only thing i see in there is his birth and the bit about him being found in the temple. Where am i missing the rest? Can you tell me where to look?

Read the book about "The Lost Years of Jesus". Accordingly he was in Tibet.

He was living, learning, being a human - laying all the foundations for those momentous 3 years when he did what his Father wanted. Perfect timing.

There is reference to other stages of his life, eg: as a child his parents lost him and later found him at the temple.

Because he was in Egypt...When He and His familty returned from Egypt, He worked with His father as a carpenter/ construction worker until the time that he was to begin His ministry.

I've heard that the other years of Jesus's life are written in the Qu'ran. I haven't actually read much of that book but I know that Jesus is in there.

like what do you mean? besides being son of GOD did he do anything normal like us? Like girls, hang out with friends, talk back to his parents? thats kinda stuff? I dont know.
